2012 BCHS Commemorative Calendar

This one of a kind commemorative calendar includes images of historical faces and places during the U.S.-Dakota War of 1862. Chronological events of the U.S.-Dakota War of 1862 are noted each month along with a calendar of events for the upcoming commemoration of the U.S.-Dakota War in August 2012.

 U.S.-Dakota War Commemoration Newspaper Article Series

The Steering Committee has decided to have various authors/persons write articles regarding the US-Dakota War of 1862. These articles will tell the historical aspects leading up to the war, during the war and the aftermath. Some articles will also tell stories of those who in the area and survived the war.
